This we have been learning the sounds ck and e in phonics. We practiced counting objects and our fingers up to 5. We have continued to explore the texts Star in a Jar and Little Star by learning new vocabulary and starting to plan and write about the story. The children were extremely excited to experience using a sparkler! We discussed safety rules then recounted our experience and drew the safety rules afterwards. We loved taking part in interfaith week, hearing from guests who shared their faiths of Hinduism and Judaism and also took part in a Bangra dance workshop.
