What a lovely week we have had! We have been extremely busy in maths this week: our focused sessions have been centred around exploring length, height and time, and in our play and learn time, we have been comparing and measuring mass using balancing scales. In English we have continued looking at the text Juniper Jupiter. As part of this we had a 'Who Wants to be A Millionaire?' style hot seat quiz with questions about the text. The children didn't recognise the quiz show but Miss Harry and Miss Scholfield thoroughly enjoyed the theme music we used to add tension in the background! The children did a brilliant job answering the questions and we even got to make use of the phone a friend feature! We have been making crispy cakes, finger painting, singing nursery rhymes and ordering events using time words. We have been very busy indeed!
