Creative Worship

On Wednesday we went over to Church for Creative Worship with Reverend Kathy.

We looked at the stained glass window, the creation cloth and a painting that was taken from the old Church. We discussed what each of them represented.

Then we had some mindful moments whilst lying on our backs thinking about a special place we are thankful for.

We each chose three colours and added some special paints to water. We mixed the colours and then placed a template of a child representing us into the water. When they came out it was beautiful to see that each one was unique, just like us. God made us all unique!

Maths

This week we started our place value learning of numbers within 100. We played a game with our shoulder partners. We had to take turns to roll a dice and move a counter the corresponding numbers of spaces on 51 - 100 square. We were encouraged to say the number on each space as we moved our counters.

The aim of the game was to be the first to reach 100.
