What a lovely week! We have finished our first writing outcome for our Star in a Jar story in English. The children planned and wrote their problem penguin and ending elephant sections. In maths we have been looking at the composition of 4 and 5 as well as comparing amounts. We have learned the sounds u and r in phonics. In RE we have continued looking at families and homes. The children began to make houses out of boxes and talked about who lives there. We created large scale artwork in groups to represent fireworks and guessed who was who from our baby pictures! We also went on a walk to the library with our buddies where we created journey sticks by adding items to our stick as we walked, which represented each section of our journey.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
