    Week 3

We have had another wonderful, busy week in school this week.

Here are some of the things we have been up to this week:

    • Continued our reading phase in English, reading and responding to The Secret Seven.
    • Identified and punctuated direct speech then had a go at writing our own direct speech sentences.
    • Explored notation in music using the correct note names - crotchet, minim and quaver. We then created our own viking battle songs using a combination of these.
    • Concluded our current unit of learning on fractions, looking at equivalent fractions and fractions on a number line and in bar models.
    • Looked at the average rainfall in areas in the UK and our own area of Lancashire in Geography,
    • Talked about making choices (Individual Liberty) in worship.

    ... and much, much more!

    Have a wonderful weekend x
