We have had such a lovely, busy week this week!
We have been doing more focussed learning time as a class and in small groups. In maths, we have been looking at matching objects and pictures as well as identifying sets. We also explored sorting techniques.
We have started our phonics sessions this week and have learned the sounds 's' and 'a'. We practised writing them and the children did a great job!
In our play and learn time, our challenges have been to explore mark making with chalk and to talk about what we use our hands and feet for. We drew around our hands and measured them with cubes.
We also let the children loose with the ipods to practise capturing photographs as part of our computing learning. It has been a great source of entertainment to see the photos the children have taken and we will be continuing this next week!
Have a wonderful weekend.
