Week 4
This week in Year 6 has been filled with creativity, curiosity and hands-on learning!
In DT, we developed our sewing skills as we began creating our prototype tote bags, focusing on accuracy and resilience. In Science, we explored the composition of blood and used food items to represent its different components, before creating detailed mind maps to show our understanding of each part and its function.
In Geography, we learned about energy sources across the UK and located key cities on the map. We also practised using 6-figure grid references to find evidence of energy sources on OS maps.
