This week has been full of exciting learning opportunities across the curriculum. In PE, the children explored different ways of moving, practising their hopping, skipping and jumping actions with great enthusiasm. Our Science lesson focused on the tongue and taste – we enjoyed tasting a range of different foods, rating them out of 10 and using new vocabulary to describe the flavours. We also took part in a Recycling Workshop, where we learnt about the importance of recycling our waste to help keep our school and wider community clean and tidy. During Guided Reading, we continued with our story Look Up! and had fun learning new vocabulary words and actions, carefully spotting the words in the text and highlighting them. It’s been a fantastic week of active, hands-on learning!
