Week 6

Year 5 have been busy learning all about irreversible changes in science, with a focus on combustion and the fire triangle. They loved seeing how heat, fuel and oxygen all play their part! To finish off our learning in the most delicious way, we enjoyed s’mores hot chocolate and sang festive carols around the fire. A perfect mix of science, smiles and seasonal magic!

In our 'Installation Art' lesson this week, the children created plans of their own installation art, with a message.  They had some excellent ideas, with some of them linking to sterotypical messages, our school values and wider world issues! Well done Year 5!
