It has been another busy and productive week in Year 6!
Science
In Science, the children worked in groups to investigate what affects heart rate. They carried out practical investigations and presented their results using bar charts and graphs, showing great teamwork and scientific thinking.
English
We researched a range of newspaper reports and identified effective words and phrases. This will help us when we begin writing our own newspaper reports next week.
Maths
In Maths, we focused on reasoning practice, applying our learning from this half term to tackle trickier multi-step questions. The children showed excellent perseverance and problem-solving skills.
DT
After weeks of hard work, we finally completed sewing our bags! The children should be very proud of their finished products and the effort they put into developing their sewing skills.
PE
We finished the week with an exciting dodgeball tournament, putting into practice the skills we have been developing over the last few weeks, including dodging, blocking and throwing.
