Week 6

This week we have had a very busy week. We have been doing the final practices for our infant nativity alongside producing work in all of our lessons. We can't wait to perform our nativity next week!

Star of the Week

This week our star of the week is Gracie. She has just grown in confidence so much and this week she has blown us away when reciting our focus poem in English 'Firework Party'. Well done Gracie, keep it up!

English

In English this week we have been looking at 'Firework Party' a poem that focuses on 'ed' word endings. We worked in groups to first of all, learn the poem and recite it with actions and then innovate the adjectives using visual prompts. We amazed Miss Whaley with some of our ideas/ 

"The fire crackled in the dark."

"The fire burned until there was no flame."

"The fire dazzled in the moonlight."
