SKAT of the Week
This week we have been learning about compromise. This is something that can be tricky to do but we know it is an important SKAT.

Making and Designing our Puppets
This week we made and decorated our puppets. The children have really enjoyed this DT unit and learned some skills along the way.
We lined up our two pieces of felt (like a sandwich) and then we stapled around them, trying to stay close to the edge. We needed to remember not to staple the bottom or else our hand wouldn't fit inside.
The children then decorated their puppet, adding a face, eyes and buttons if they chose to. We used double sided tape to stick our decorations on.

We have been reading and listening to robot poetry this half term. This week we have practised the poem 'I'm a Little Robot'. We added our own actions to the poem and then rehearsed the poem so we could perform it 'off by heart'.
