Another busy week in Year 1! 

In DT, we designed and built basketball net structures, investigating how adding weight to the base helps to make them stable.

In English, the children have been blowing Miss Bryan and Mrs Flanagan away with their fantastic sentence accuracy! ✏️ They also began planning and writing letters from their toys that are stuck in the attic — full of imagination and emotion!

In Maths, we’ve been working hard to find number bonds for different numbers up to 10. 

In Science, we’ve been exploring the seasons and learning about the wonderful changes each one brings.
