Another busy week in Year 1! 🌟

 

In DT, we designed and built basketball net structures, investigating how adding weight to the base helps to make them stable. 🏀

 

In English, the children have been blowing Miss Bryan and Mrs Flanagan away with their fantastic sentence accuracy! ✏️ They also began planning and writing letters from their toys that are stuck in the attic — full of imagination and emotion! 🧸💌

 

In Maths, we’ve been working hard to find number bonds for different numbers up to 10. 🔢

 

In Science, we’ve been exploring the seasons and learning about the wonderful changes each one brings. 🍂❄️🌸🌞
