Week 5

To recognise Children's Mental Health Week the children enjoyed practicing meditation and relaxation techniques.  They discussed the importance of looking after their minds as well as their bodies to help them be the best version of themselves.

They also created their own personality treasure maps which they filled with positive things about themselves and their strengths and goals.

The children took part in a virtual live Cyber security lesson this week which focussed on staying say online. 

In english we starter our 'poetry using imagery' unit and we explored figurative language to describe.  In groups, the children planned their superhero / villian poem and we are looking forward to writing them next week!
