Week 7

We’ve had a crazy busy week in Year 3, packed full of fun, hands-on learning! In DT, we made our final products — our delicious seasonal tarts. We had such a great time baking them, using pastry, different jams, and lots of tasty fruit. The classroom smelled amazing, and we were so proud of how our tarts turned out!

 

As if that wasn’t enough baking for one week, we also became scientists in the kitchen! As part of our science experiment, we baked a cake while changing different variables to see what would happen. Let’s just say… a cake with eight eggs is definitely stinky! It was messy, exciting, and such a great way to learn through real-life experiments. What a brilliant (and slightly smelly!) week it’s been in Year 3!
