In Year 3 this week we have been working incredibly hard. We can't believe that we are officially half way thRough the year! Time flies when you're having fun... especially learning and having fun!
Star of the Week
This week our star of the week is...
Oracy
This week we have completed our Spring 1 oracy outcome. We had time to prepare and plan our pitch to sell our products. We presented to the whole class and pitched our amazing products to Miss Whaley and Miss Mack! They decided how much to invest in each product. It was so much fun and we all spoke so clearly and confidently!
Design Technology
This week we have been working hard to complete our designs and programs for our wearable technology product. The criteria stated that it had to be a product to help two young children who walk to school. We had a range of products such as hats, keychains, pants, shoes, and bracelets. We absolutely loved using the iPads, laptops and microbits to create the products and bring our ideas to life!
English
We started a new topic of discussion texts this week. We have really enjoyed reading and analysing the example texts and spotting key features. We worked really well in our kagan partners to highlight and annotate around the texts.
