What a wonderful start back after the Christmas holidays. We have all come back to school with a mature and 'can do' attitude which has been lovely for the adults to see! We just go stuck back in and in to our class routine, we have worked super hard this week!
Star of the Week
This week our star of the week is Amelia H. She had a super week before the holidays, she was a key member of our class and the choir with her beautiful voice. We are really proud of your commitments to all of the extra-curricular events!
Geography
This week we started a new unit of learning all about Rainforests. We started to learn how to measure the average amount of rainfall in one rainforest.
Maths
We have been building on multiplication and division. We moved on to multiplying a two digit number by a one digit number such as 26 x 3. We used place value counters and whiteboards. We now know how to multiply using flexible partitioning.
