Our SkAts winner this week was ...

Maths 

The class are still learning about fractions and are really trying hard to master adding fractions within one whole, adding and subtracting fractions with same denominator.

English

Year 5 are still reading  The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.

The children have worked as a group to complete their plan and started working on their shared write.

They have continued reading the text and are thoroughly enjoying it.

Art

Mrs Hudson has taken the Art lessons and the class have been designing their own version of installation art. Their subject has been of their own choosing and should show the information they have researched. Individually the children were asked to explore a subject regarding topics affecting our World today.
