Our learning this week...

We have had another great week and the class have continued with their experiment in science about parachutes and how the materials used makes a difference to the speed rate of the fall. The children used different objects that they have found around the room, to use to weight the parachutes.

In our PE Lesson on Wednesday, the class was out in the sunshine, mastering the skill of ball control and under arm serving in tennis.

Our Thursday Lesson in PE was just a successful. The class was practising Yoga. Mrs Wilton and Mrs Hudson were very impressed with the amount of concentration that was shown.

In RE this week, the class were asked to write their own poem about the Easter Story and how it may be interpreted into modern day. The class worked extremely hard on their poems. At the end of the lesson, some children were asked to read out their poems to the class. Mrs Bracken was asked if she would like to listen. All the staff were amazed at the attention to detail and content of the work.

Well done Year 5, keep this up, you are all amazing.
