Year 5 have now started a new book, the class are learning about stories from other cultures.

Our new book is called "Journey to the River Sea". The main character was about an orphan called Maia and her adventures as she moved to live with relatives in Manaus, Brazil. Along the Amazon River.

Geography

In our lessons, Year five are learning about Tectonic plates and how they create mountains. The class will be learning about different mountain ranges and how they were created.
