Welcome back to the final half term of the school year!
Week 1
In RE this week we took our learning outside as we started our unit about Ascension and Pentecost. The children used chalk and natural materials to create artwork which they thought represented Heaven. The children created some fabulous artwork and used their developing oracy skills to explain what they had created.
In PSHE we have been thinking about different people who help us and how we can support our friends. We have worked on the SKATs 'being aware of how I feel' and being 'aware of how other people are feeling.'
We have enjoyed refining our sprinting skills in PE as we start our athletics unit. We have watched our partners sprint and have given them feedback on their sprinting techniques.
It's been a lovely week with lots of laughter, sunshine and fabulous learning!
