Week 4
On Monday the whole school celebrated British Science Week. We came off timetable and embraced this years theme of 'time'. We looked at our own skills, careers and aspirations. We focussed on medicine and learned about different jobs within this sector. We received a video from the Cardio Physiologists from Blackburn Royal Hospital, learned about Dental Nursing and the role of an Ophthamologist. We researched the inspirational person Aneurin Bevan who founded the NHS.
At the end of the day we set up a science fair in the hall and shared all our learning with the rest of the school. It was an amazing day!
