Week 1
Welcome to the new Summer term!
We have enjoyed reading our new text 'The Owl who was afraid of the dark' this week and the children have made thoughtful predictions, drawn and labelled a selection of nocturnal animals and written a diary entry.
In geography we have started our new unit comparing the settlement of Kampong Ayer to where we live. We have used our new interactive globe to find out information about different countries surrounding these areas and discussed new vocabulary.
In art the children enjoyed drawing for pleasure and we spent Friday afternoon listening to music whilst immersed in art! They created some fabulous masterpieces!
We enjoyed the new team building unit in PE this week and used our communication skills to actively solve problems and work as a team.
In RE the children created their own special place in the classroom and made a new reading area. What a fabulous place!
