Week 4 (Monday 23rd January - Friday 27th January)

Operation Oracy Day

On Wednesday morning after Worship, we were called into the hall for a whole school TOP SECRET ASSEMBLY!!

We received a note which told us to bring our pencils with us. Tristan guessed we could all be going to do a drawing competition.

We found out that the oracy group had been planning a special day to help us develop our oracy skills. Pens were banned for the day and we had a day with lots of opportunities for talking, listening and team building. It was great fun! The children in Reception class really impressed us with their sentence speaking and attitude towards their speaking.

The oracy group had planned in opportunities to spend time with other classes during the day 🥰
