Week 3

Science

We used drama to explore the difference between a planet's rotation and its orbit. Don't forget to ask us to explain!

English

We developed our oracy skills, using different sentence stems to instigate a sentence. We were looking at evidence from the text that Timber, the dog, is not quite what you would expect. We discussed our ideas with our partners in the first instance before working in our Kagan groups.

Outdoor Learning - maths

We took our times tables practice outside this week! Working in pairs, we had to solve a times table treasure hunt. We really enjoyed this.

Class Blog - Jaxon and Libby

So in maths we have been doing 4 digits divided by 1 digits and everyone did exceptionally well and most people did really hard problem solving because everyone finished all of the sheets so we did not have any more sheets left and in music we listened to blues music and drew pictures about what it reminds use of and everyone had fun and enjoyed it. On Friday in English we made up our own character and tried for the first time to do show not tell and most people did a twist in a tall and got it published in a real life book.
