Week 2
In PE this week the children have been developing their team working skills. We took our lesson outside and worked in groups to solve practical problems!
Microhabitats was our focus in science this week. We headed to the local wooded area to observe and investigate different microhabitats. We found lots of plants and wildlife and discussed the suitable conditions each area provided.
In art the children designed and painted their own rollercoasters. They focussed on creating and painting clean smooth lines, using the right amount of paint and using different brushes to create varying thickness of lines.
We also celebrated Earth day all week and enjoyed bird watching and creating our own enviromental pledges. Check out our Year 2 padlet for photos!
