Week 1

Science

In science, we have started our new topic about Earth and Space. We started by looking at a variety of different statements in order to decide whether they were True or False. There was also a 'Don't Know' section. How would you do?

We have started looking at formal multiplication using grids and we have done a few bits of dividing. 

In English we have been learning about science fiction. Our book  is named The Portal.

We have also been learning about brackets for parenthesis so then we call all include it in our writing

In guided reading we read about World War and the book is called Blackout.

In history we will be learning about the Battle of Britain.

In French we have been learning about how to ask someone what is your name and to say my name is.

PSHE

We have been learning about how prejudices can arise from us have stereotypical ideas about people, whether that be as a result of their gender, sex or orientation.  We designed posters to draw attention to the wrong things that people may say or do, and the what could be said instead. Take a look!

French

We have been working with Mrs Pearson to learn how to ask somebody's age in French, and how to respond correctly. Here we are singing in French.
