Week 2

Cricket

To celebrate achieving Class of the Week before half-term, some of the children took part in a cricket match whilst others chilled with their friends.

PSHE

In PSHE, we have been looking at basic First Aid using resources from the British Red Cross. If you require any additional information or resources regarding this, the website link is below.

English

We have started to look at our new class novel, The Fire Thief. We have examined the first chapter to identify good examples of adjectives, similes and verbs. Hopefully, we will be able to use some of these in our own writing! 

We then considered how the author has blended dialogue, action and description for effect. We found lots of examples of verbs used for speech.
