Week 2

Maths and Outdoor Learning

This week in both Outdoor Learning and Maths we have been looking at measuring. We began by measuring things inside and outside, using non-standard measuring equipment such as blocks; hands; feet; white boards. 

We then looked at the features of rulers and how we use them to accurately measure objects.

English

We have been looking at the story of the Three Little Pigs, thinking about different materials houses could be made from; how the characters might be feeling and different endings.

We have planned our own versions of the story, we'll be able to share the stories we create when you are able to join us in school to look at our work.
