Science
As part of our topic about plants, we went on to the playground and looked at all the different plants that are growing. We made sketches of some of the plants which we then used for labelling the different parts.
English
In our English this week, we are beginning our shared write of alternative enormous fruit or vegetable stories. To help prepare we did some 'Hot Seating' where we were able to get some ideas from each other of thoughts and feelings of the characters.

This week in D.T we have been looking at making structures stronger and sturdy by joining materials together.

In English we have written our own versions of the 'Enormous Turnip' story. On Friday afternoon we each had the opportunity to read our story to some of the Reception class children.
