Week 7

What we have been up to this week...

What a busy, busy last week of term!!!

We've done lots of science this week. We have explored the different bones in the skeleton and looked at different types of skeletons: endoskeletons, exoskeletons and hydro-static skeletons. We also looked at the muscles in the body and how they work in pairs, contracting and relaxing, to help the body move.

We finished our discussion text unit in English. The children wrote a shared piece of writing based on 'Would you like to live in an epicentre?' They then wrote an independent discussion text, exploring 'Should computers replace teachers' We had a very interesting time coming up with for and against reasons for this!

We filmed our show, the link for which has been emailed to you. We hope you enjoy! We also had our Christmas party which was great fun.

The children played some small games in PE where they had to pass the football to each other to score. It was lovely to see very red faces and competitive spirit during this lesson!!

All that's left to say is Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy the break with your families and thank you so much for your continued support over the past term. It's truly been a joy getting to know your children and I can't wait to explore more learning and make more memories with them.
