Week 2
The children are enjoying our new history topic on World War One and have enjoyed learning about how people communicated in the past.
They have worked in pairs in PE to master the basis gymnastic shapes and had fun creating their own routine. Maths and English have been very practical this week.... please see the photos below!
Outdoor learning - Maths, adding and subtracting tens
This week the children worked with a partner to find and solve maths questions which had been hidden around the playground. Once they found the questions, the used different apparatus to help them prove their answers.

The children have been working on commands and instructions. We made vegetable pizza's in class and then they created their own set of instructions including a title, imperative verbs, time connectives and adverbs.
