This week, Year 5 have been out and about in Lower Darwen. They left school and ventured down towards the River Darwen as part of their Geography Unit on Rivers. They looked closely at a smaller stream on their way to the River Darwen and talked about the different features they could see. After that, Year 5 were able to look at the River Darwen from above. They talked about the different types of wildlife that they could potentially find in the river and discussed how the high river banks were formed! πŸšΆπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈβ€βž‘οΈπŸŒ
