Week Three

Japanese Calligraphy

This week during the Arts Award session after school on Tuesday. The children had great fun learning to write in Japanese calligraphy.

All the children got excited when Mrs Hudson gave them their own calligraphy practice book and their name written in Japanese, with other worksheets.

Mrs Hudson commented that it was the quietest the group has ever been.

Lily-Mae enjoyed it so much that she went home and as homework, wrote a letter to Miss Smith in Japanese.

Well done Lily-Mae, the letter has made it onto the Year Five Wow Work board.
