Drawing Club

This week our Drawing Club story is 'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers. We have enjoyed discussing the story and learning about penguins in Antarctica.

PE - Dance

This week we started our first dance unit of the year and the children really impressed us with their rhythm.

This week's first lesson was all about 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes'.
We counted beats of 8 while tapping each of the body parts. The children were really good at counting and tapping in time to the counting. We then sang the song to music and skipped around to the count of 8 before singing our song again. The children loved this and were fabulous dancers!

We also played a game of bop it where we had to move our bodies in different ways.
