Visit to Blackburn Art Gallery and Museum
On the afternoon of 31st March, Mrs Hudson took a group of 9 girls, that are currently studying for the Arts Award certificate from Trinity College London.
The girls were lucky enough to have a personalised tour of the gallery, Ms Lees and the curator of the museum and gallery put together a bespoke collection of art, textile, manga and anime, as extras the girls also got to look at the fine art, beetle collection and the Egyptology collection.
Ms Lees gave a really good descriptive talk all about the Japanese collection. The girls were all so interested and the questions asked regarding the different aspects of the arts astounded Mrs Hudson.
The girls were a credit to the school, and made Mrs Hudson so proud.
Well done girls, keep up the good work that you have done so far.
