Week 3
This week we have had a jam packed week of learning! We have been busy bees working hard in all of our lessons! We have really loved learning this week, and it has been a great week in class!

Library Trip
We enjoyed a trip to Roman Road Library with Year 4 on Tuesday where we got some free reading time, and listened to a story altogether. We loved being able to read with our friends and share stories!
PE
This week in PE we have been developing our defending skills in basketball. We worked in small groups to practice our chest and bounce passes without the defender stealing the ball.
Geography
We looked at two different earthquakes in New Zealand and compared the aftermaths of both. We explored the richter scale in more detail and understood how an earthquake occurs. We were able to define subducting, spreading and sliding tectonic plates.
