Our Visit to Roman Road Library

On Tuesday morning, we visited Roman Road library. We looked at lots of different books and enjoyed the different stories that the library has to offer. We were very respectful of the books and took great care of them. Year 1 heard a story read by one of the librarians about a tooth fairy and Miss Bryan read a story about lots of different animals joining a queue for the loo! On the way to the library we saw a lovely lady who was helping to keep our community tidy by picking up litter that had been dropped. We also saw a lady at Grozone (next to the library) who told them about some beetroot she was planting. Year 1 borrowed five books and brought them back to class and then read one of them during today's Stop and Read. What a lovely morning had by all! 📚

Special visitors! 🐤🐣

Year 2's chicks visited us on Thursday afternoon. All nine of the eggs have hatched. They are so cute and fluffy!

Phonics

This week in phonics, we started our Phase 5a learning.

This week we learnt two new sounds, practising reading, writing words and sentences containing our new phonemes.

Creative Worship

On Thursday during Creative Worship we created some pieces of art with Bible verses linking to Harvest to go in with our donations for the food bank at our Harvest Service. How lovely 😊
