Week 3

Week 3

This week we have worked super hard! We've had a fantastic week with lots of different learning opportunities. We've been working especially hard on our writing this week ready to start our first English unit with a key text next week!

Star of the Week

Our star this week is Tristan. He has had a brilliant week in class and has been a science expert telling us all about different types of animals! Well done!

Creative Worship

this week we were lucky enough to have a creative worship session with Rev. Rebecca in the hall. We talked about everyone being different and unique in their own way and how we embrace that. We then all came together to add to a whole-school piece of artwork that displays our differences with our fingerprints but we all share the same values and are one big St James' family.

Science

This week in science we explored different types of animals and sorted them into mammals, insects, reptiles, birds, amphibians and fish. We completed a cutting and sticking activity independently to consolidate our learning. 

RE

This week in RE we discussed our favourite foods and foods that we all like and dislike. We had discussions with our talk partner based on different foods. We also discussed where we think our food comes from linking into the Harvest festival.
