Penalty Shootouts
On Monday, we enjoyed taking part in the penalty shootouts to raise money for The Cancer Bank charity that Mr Theobalds has set up. It was organised by our courageous advocates pupil voice group.
Everyone had two kicks (one from the ground and one from a cone) plus one throw of a tennis ball.
We scored points for our planet teams if we hit the target.
Stop and Read Teacher Swap
On Friday Reception Class enjoyed a change when Miss Scholfield read two stories during Stop and Read. Miss Scholfield chose two of her daughter Lyla's favourite stories, Lyla is reception class age too.
They found 'The Book with no Pictures' hilarious and there was lots of laughter!
They also read 'Freddie and the Fairy'.
