Week 4

This week we have been really focused and working our socks off in Year 3! We have even earned our very first extra playtime as a class reward for positive behaviour! 

Star of the Week

This week our star of the week is Kaleb. Kaleb has blown us away this week with his shared and independent writing. Kaleb always shows resilience, determination and perseverance. Well done Kaleb, keep being a superstar!

PSHE

In PSHE we explored our learning through drama. We went outside onto the playground to re-enact a scenario in small groups. The lesson outcome was to understand how to resolve conflict calmly and independently, which we have also been encouraged to do in and around school linking to our school values.

Pen Licenses

This week we have had 5 children receive their first pen! In the juniors, the children are awarded a pen when they have demonstrated consistently neat handwriting. We encourage cursive handwriting where appropriate. This week Lawson, Zuzanna, Eva, Sathiya and Anna have been our first 5 children to receive their pen! Well done to our friends!

RE

We revisited our prior learning from Year 1 and Year 2 of Sukkah's and people of Judaism celebrating Sukkot. We orally recapped what a Sukkah is and how it should be designed and built.
