Week 3

Week 3

(scroll down for pictures!)

In English we have finished reading the Stone Age Boy and analysing the features. The children have really enjoyed the story.

We have continued our understanding of numbers to 1,000 in maths, placing numbers on a number line, ordering them and finding 1, 10 and 100 more or less than 3 digit numbers.

We enjoyed creative worship with Rev Rebecca in the hall on Thursday. We talked about being unique and added our fingerprints to a whole school masterpiece!

In history we looked at some photographs of artefacts from the Stone Age and suggested what they might have been used for.

Science was definitely a highlight for the children this week! We used starburst to represent the three different types of rocks: sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic. The children were extremely excited and really engaged well with their learning.

Have a lovely weekend!
