Week 2
This week we have had a jam packed week of learning! We have had so much fun in class this week, lots of practical and active learning! We are totally worn out and ready for the weekend!
Star of the Week
This week our star of the week is Isabella. Her behaviour is exemplary every week but this week she has blown us away by being our beautiful bride for our class wedding! Isabella displayed outstanding oracy skills and it was lovely to see her showing lots of confidence, well done!
Maths
This week we have been super busy in our maths lessons following our new teach active approach. We worked in teams developing our team work skills and ability to recognise numbers as words, representations and numerals. It was great fun!
Art
This week we have moved on to our second lesson of formal elements of art and we were exploring line. We used string and chalk to create a piece of art using one of the six lines: vertical, horizontal, wavy, cross-hatched, broken, or diagonal.
Science
This week we carried out an investigation to find out which materials are waterproof. This was to test which materials would be suitable for the roofs of our houses.
