Week 4
Danny Butler the Olympic MTB champion visited school this week and the children took part in an activity session with him and he also showed us some of his stunts and tricks. The children loved the sessions and will receive their prizes shortly , if they have been able to raise some sponsorship money.
We are thoroughly enjoying our mechanisms unit in DT. The children have planned and designed their own Ferris wheel and are now in the making stages! They are thinking carefully about the wheel and axle and how they need to make their structure sturdy and secure. Next week they will start making the frame and the pods!
