Art - we designed and drew a floor plan of our dream house.

English - presenting our new chapters of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Buddy reading - the children had a great time reading with their buddies in reception. Take a look at the photographs, it was so lovely to see the children enjoying each others company.

The children shared Christmas traditions in their families. Willow M even brought in some gingerbread cookies for everyone, which she made herself, following a polish recipe.

Our final week at Art Award Club

We were all a little sad that the Art Award Club was coming to an end. So this week the children had a smashing time, with the help of Mr Hudson.

The children produced their own version of the Japanese art of Kintsugi. Kintsugi is where a piece of broken pottery is pieced back together with gold - a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections.

We had a visitor come to stay in our classroom on Friday.

We would like to welcome Eddie the Ewood Elf.

The children helped with putting the christmas tree up in the classroom on Friday. Topping the tree was our Polish angel, and the angel that Emily made at home.

We had another lovely surprise on Friday. Mrs Hudson celebrates every December 1st with Grinch Day, so she made cupcakes for everyone. Mrs Hudson also brought in a green candy cane with a Grinch poem on.
