Week 1
Welcome to the Summer term!
In maths this week we have started our fractions unit. We have used practical equipment to calculate 1/2 and 1/4 of quantities. This also allowed us to develop our team working skills.
In English we have started reading our new text 'The owl who was afraid of the dark'. We've loved learning about 'Plop' and other nocturnal animals. We also used a dictionary and Word Hippo to find the definition of lots of new words.
We took our learning outside in science to investigate and observe living things, things that are dead and things that have never been alive.
