Week 1

The first week back has been hectic but fun, with lots of learning taking place!  The children have enjoyed reading and watching the classic fiction story, The Wizard of Oz.  We have explored new vocabulary, discussed different classic stories and written in the role of a character.  In DT we have completed the design process for their Waistcoat project after reviewing exisiting products and carrying out research.

Wew welcomed a external visitors into school this week as they spoek to all children about different aspects of PSHE.  Year 6 discussed 'decisions'.

In History we explored Mexico as we are going to learn about the Ancient Maya civilisation this half term.

Thank you for all your support with homework and reading, most children seem to be getting into a good routine.
