High School Application Information
All parents of Y6 children should apply online on the BwD website (below) for a secondary school place. Applications are open from 4th September 2023.
The closing date for secondary school applications is 31st October 2023. Applications must be submitted to the local authority by this date to be considered as ‘on time’ along with all supporting evidence.
The national offer day for secondary school places is 1st March 2024.
The deadline for parents and carers to accept or decline their offer of a place is 14th March 2024. Parent and carers who applied online will need to log onto the online parent portal to accept their offer of a school place.
