SKATs
This week the children have been introduced to our SKATs (Skills and Attitudes). These are lifelong learning skills that the children will learn about throughout their time at St James'.
More information can be found here.
Each week in Year we will introduce a new KS1 SKAT to the children.
Our SKATs are on display in class:
This week's SKAT:
We have really impressed Miss Bryan this week and tried very hard to aim high, doing our very best in all areas of the curriculum.
PSHE
This week we started off our PSHE learning by thinking about 'Why we have classroom rules'.
Having rules can help the classroom to be a safe, friendly, happy place to be - and we can all help by following the rules.
PE
This half term in PE:
Tuesday - Fundamentals with Mrs Wilton
Thursday - Ball Skills with Miss Bryan
Computing
In Computing this week we reminded ourselves how to log onto the laptops and into Purple Mash. We now have a new login for the laptops now that we are in Year 1.
The children blew us away and enjoyed exploring Maths City and Simple City.
