We have carried on with The Jolly Postman, this week sees the children beginning to write their own version of the story. The class have all drawn their story maps. They have then practised with the shoulder partners and their Kagan table groups, retelling their stories.

Geography
This week has seen the children accessing Google Earth. Looking around the school grounds, home and different areas. The class have thoroughly enjoyed showing off their homes, and Asda.
Art
Friday afternoon in Year 2 is always exciting.
This week Year 2 have been experimenting with colour and shape. The children have learnt about stained glass windows. They were then given instructions to make their own stained glass map, from their work from week 1. Each child's work is completely unique.
